Plan now to attend the fourth biennial Western Frontier Symposium for another full weekend of exciting regional history presentations. This year we explore the worlds of fashion to be found on New York’s colonial frontier. The cultures of Europe and North America intersected in the Mohawk Valley to create distinctive variations in clothing, buildings, interior design, furniture, foods and entertainments from 1700 to 1800.

Symposium speakers include Phillip Otterness, David Preston, Timothy Shannon, George Hamell, Mark Hutter, Robert Trent, Mary Elise Antoine, Sandy Oliver and others.
